At one point, this was the only support that aphasic patients had in Waterloo Wellington. He became a hospital visitor and continues to volunteer at all the Aphasia workshops presented by his the District Stroke program.

This is not a textbook but rather some of the realities of what it's like to have a stroke and, primarily, how to deal with aphasia. It is not just his story, but it's also the stories of other survivors. A lot of the stories that you read will be through conversation, classes, support groups and articles. Why? Because in his opinion textbooks don't give the real story of what it feels like. He is a born-again Christian, and he has the values the principles he learned. It is not what denomination you are affiliated with. It is your faith and relationship with God, you yourself, your community and people in general. Now he am not a preacher, nor do he have a degree and some may say Frank is bitter. What you may read might be a hard pill to swallow. To them him he says clean-up your spilled milk.

Frank is available for interviews and appearances.
